• May Day (International Workers' Day) - Celebrated on May 1st, this holiday is recognized in various countries around the world, though it is not widely celebrated in the U.S.

• Mother's Day - Celebrated on the second Sunday in May, Mother's Day honors mothers and maternal figures, and it's a day for people to show appreciation for their mothers through gifts, cards, and special activities.

• Memorial Day - Observed on the last Monday of May, Memorial Day is a federal holiday dedicated to honoring and remembering the men and women who have died while serving in the U.S. military. It is often marked by ceremonies, parades, and the decoration of graves.
